New York Tour Starts Friday July 10

The Nobody's New York Bike Tour is starting this Friday July 10. Twenty- three people applied for the tour. After our initial screening, we ended up with fourteen qualified applicants. Those applicants then attended our bike tour orientation and six riders decided to withdraw. The final eight applicants participated in our Cyclical Cycle Compatibility Challenge, which consisted of riding 100 miles together thought a simulated weather spectrum. Regrettably none of the participants were able to complete the ride. Three dropped out during the 70 mile an hour wind storm, two dropped out during the golf ball hail storm, one dropped out during the snow storm and the last two were unable to complete the ride, since their bikes experienced electrical failure during the 70,000 volt lightening strike.
So this year only Pretzel and I will be doing the Nobody Tour. We are hoping that next year we will have riders who are more qualified and committed apply, as it would be great to have 6 - 8 Nobodies join us.

If the 2010 Nobody's tour is AFTER the Habitat 500, there is a chance that I'd come along. Next year, Glacier National Park?
